Swim Lessons (group)
Students and teachers must be able to readily switch to online instruction at any point in the semester in order to register for classes.
All students must complete a project for these classes.

Classes will be held the weeks of January 10, 17, 24, 31 February 7, 14, 21, 28 (reserved for makeup classes cancelled due to snow days), March 7, 14, 28 April 4,11,18,25.
There will be no scheduled classes Feb 28-March 3 (reserved for snow day makeups) and March 21-24 Spring Break.
Students must be registered for Session I and will automatically be registered and must take Session II as well.
Students choose one day option when registering. Space is limited and first come first serve. Registering with the partnership does NOT complete the process for this class. **Levels may not be available on every day option. No private lessons offered to partnership students.***
Preschool Levels 1-2: Build comfort in the water and introduce basic swimming movements and skills.
Preschool 3:Increase proficiency and build on the basic aquatic skills learned in Preschool Aquatics Levels 1 and 2
Level 1: Introduction to water skills. Orient participants to the aquatic environment and help them gain basic aquatic skills. Help participants begin to develop positive attitudes and safe practices around water
Level 2: Fundamental Aquatic Skills. Build on the basic aquatic skills and water safety skills and concepts learned in Level 1. Work towards independent swimming to pass level 2.
Level 3: Stroke Development. Build on the skills learned in Level 1 & 2 to help participants achieve basic water competency in a pool environment
Level 4: Stroke Improvement. Improve participants’ proficiency in performing the swimming strokes that were introduced in Level 3
Level 5: Stroke Refinement. Help participants refine their performance of all six swimming strokes.
Level 6: Refine strokes so participants swim them with greater efficiency and effectiveness over longer distances. Teach participants fundamental springboard diving skills.

Group Swim lessons
Each level of swim lessons will focus on skills that will progress in difficulty. At the end of each session (7weeks) students will be evaluated and moved if necessary. All swim lessons are geared toward increasing the student’s self-confidence and physical fitness. This course also includes a "Safety Around Water" a lesson to help grow awareness and skills in the water.
*Students should bring appropriate swim attire and goggles.
****Parents cannot stay in class with the student, it is drop off only. They are welcome to attend 'Watch Me Swim' days as offered, and they can stay in the lobby to observe the lessons, but they can't be in the pool area.
