Fall 2020
Field Trip Experiences
Resources to extend Partnership Class Learning
Format: Virtual Only
Contact for questions: Tina Kohler: ckohler@shamrocks.us
Due to Covid-19, field trips for Fall 2020 will be virtual only.
Participation in virtual field trips is highly encouraged, and can be the basis or inspiration for a project that counts for a class on the student's schedule.
'Field Trips' is no longer considered a class by itself, so it does not count as one of the choices available to students, but will be listed as a bonus option during registration. Therefore, students who like to participate in field trips can do so and still maximize their community class choices. We will provide a long list of virtual options, and want to track 'attendance' so that the hours spent on the experience can count toward the students' overall partnership participation. Sign-up and attendance for these experiences also helps us research and bring more of what you want in the future.
We do hope we can begin to offer in-person trips again this spring and beyond!
