Kindermusik Wiggle & Grow : ages 18 mos- age 5
Tuesday 10-11 am or 530-630pm Sept 5- Dec 19
*Non-partnership siblings (infants - age 5) can also participate on a self pay basis; register and pay through Citadel Dance and Music Center.
Kindermusik Wiggle & Grow/Sing & Play/Laugh & Learn are music-and-movement-activity sequences that are engaging, research-based, child centered, developmentally appropriate, and carefully and creatively designed to set the stage for optimal, multi sensory learning. Each lesson will tap to multiple areas of development, while also inviting every child every ability and every learning style not only to participate, but to thrive. Parents or caregivers are encouraged to attend the last 10–15 minutes of class. Home materials included.

Kindermusik Musicians (formerly Young Child) Level 1: ages 5-7
Wednesday 4:15-5:15pm Sept 6 - Dec 20
Kindermusik Musicians is a pressure-free, small-group class where students can develop a strong musical foundation learning the concepts, language, notation, and vocabulary of music and its greatest composers. Geared for younger children who are eager for the first experiences with musical symbols and instrument discover, but are not yet ready for formal lessons and traditional music reading with the instrument. Parents or caregivers are encouraged to attend the last 10-15 minutes of class. Home materials included.

(Must have completed Young Child 2)

Kindermusik for the Young Child Level 3 builds upon skills introduced in Levels 2 & 3. It’s is a pressure-free, small-group class where students can develop a strong musical foundation learning the concepts, language, notation, and vocabulary of music and its greatest composers. Geared for younger children who are eager for the first experiences with musical symbols and instrument discover, but are not yet ready for formal lessons and traditional music reading with the instrument. Parents or caregivers are encouraged to attend the last 10-15 minutes of class. Home materials included.

*Please note: it is important to make as informed a decision as possible when choosing your student's Community Resource classes. Most locations will allow a student to drop a class after one meeting, at no charge if it wasn't a good fit for the student, but not all. Some classes plan ahead based on the number that have signed up and have purchased materials, hired teachers, etc. and there might be a fee for class time or materials given to the student if the student drops after one or two meetings. The school cannot pay for classes that students do not complete, so choose wisely; if you do not take the class off of your student's schedule by the deadline, you may be asked to pay for the class time incurred prior to dropping the class.
